Description:

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Phlebotomist/Processor with excellent people skills to enhance our team. Ideal candidates will have a collaborative spirit and a commitment to supporting both our patients and our team's goals.Pay: $17.00 - $23.02 Per Hour DOESchedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, with a 1-hour lunch.Medical, Dental, Vision with in‑network and custom network discounts401(k) with discretionary employer matchPaid Time OffFree clinical diagnostic laboratory testing performed in houseResponsibilitiesAdministrative duties: Providing excellent customer service, answering phones, and monitoring instrumentation alarms.Technical responsibilities: Performing venipuncture for blood collection and obtaining additional specimen types as required; preparing all samples for lab testing and screening.Accurate data management: Verifying specimen information, performing data entry, and properly identifying patient information.Specimen handling: Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.Compliance: Following safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participating in quality assurance.Flexibility: Covering work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations.Reliability: Maintaining consistent, punctual attendence to support operations.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Washington Medical Assistant‑Phlebotomy (MA‑P) certification.Minimum of 1 year of on‑the‑job phlebotomy experience.Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with patients and team members.Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Excellent organizational and time‑management skills; able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.Physical RequirementsWork in a laboratory setting with automated equipment emitting ambient sounds.High level of staff interaction in close quarters; must hear alarms to respond promptly to safety needs.Regular handling of potentially infectious samples, requiring protective gear (lab coat, gloves, goggles, face shield).Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, crawl, twist, and walk on uneven surfaces throughout the day.Frequent bending, extended standing, and lifting up to 30 pounds.Flexibility to work extended hours or overtime as needed.OSHA Category: This role involves exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or tissues.
