This position is ideal for a self‑motivated candidate that can effectively manage his/her workload and produce results.What We OfferCompetitive compensation starting at $22.00+ hourly depending on experience.Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and company‑paid life insurance (all insurance available first of month after 60 days).Paid time off and paid holidays.401(k) with employer match.Coverage under state sick leave.Employee Assistance Program.Paid on‑the‑job training.Job stability.Opportunities for growth and advancement within our company – promotes within.Employee discounts on in‑house purchases.ResponsibilitiesProcess customer orders for produce, deli and floral products, accurately entering orders into the system for timely delivery to clients.Take incoming calls from customers and accurately enter their orders into the system.Contact customers via phone to build and maintain good relationships in order to meet and exceed sales goals.Enter customer orders into the system within set time frames according to delivery route schedules.Effective account management, including profitable sales; customer service; price and volume management.Manage quantities of product sold vs. warehouse supply.Operate in a team environment, working closely with the sales team and other departments, communicating constantly with warehouse and drivers.Know the product: seasonal and specials and market accordingly.Increase sales and order sizes by cross‑selling, upselling, add‑on sales and offering promotional items.Handle light collections with the customer base when applicable.Promote a positive company image and operate under the highest ethical standards.Maintain continual awareness of the competitive marketplace.Calmly and effectively resolve customer complaints.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsKnowledge and experience within the produce business preferred; extensive knowledge of grow seasons, quality, pairings and marketing strategies is a plus.Produce experience preferred.2 years of sales experience and customer service skills.Maintain good judgement and decision making that could impact the company.Solid computer skills.Flexibility with schedule: willing to work rotating weekends and holidays when scheduled.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Self‑starter and motivated.Proven success with retaining, identifying, developing and growing accounts.Clean 3‑year driving record; ability to meet insurability requirements.Working EnvironmentPhysical demands: sitting, occasional lifting, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and significant fine finger dexterity.RequirementsMust be able to pass a pre‑employment criminal background check and drug screen, and continue to satisfy the company drug testing policy.We are a Federal Contractor and drug‑free workplace, which includes a prohibition on marijuana use for all employees.#J-18808-Ljbffr
