They are responsible for representing CFS in a positive manner while ensuring that CFS customers are receiving the highest level of customer service.Primary Duties And ResponsibilitiesEnsures a high level of customer service and satisfaction with all customers in assigned region and resolves customer issuesMaintain contacts at each facility within assigned region by contacting them bi-monthly for regular “check-ins”Communicate regularly with customers informing them of changes to scheduled deliveries or product substitutionsKeep phone charged and working to ensure continued line of communication with the kitchen staffEnsure that all product is delivered daily according to the menu. Accommodate all customer requests and fill missing items dailyMake sure that food pars are met at all times and communicate daily with the kitchen staffConsult with new customers regarding kitchen needs, storage capacity, billing and other needs for offering servicesAfter accounts are established, meet with new customers to orient them to the needs of food service including kitchen setup, maintaining proper food temperatures, billing, delivery tickets, menus and website useHave a working knowledge of safety standards for kitchen staffFollow all established systems and controls for food order accuracyLoad and unload delivery vehicles with food, containers, carts and other itemsPrepare, package and assemble food orders accurately for deliveryTrack and maintain food and supply inventories at customer locationsNotify Kitchen Manager and Kitchen Leads if items are missing and neededObey all traffic laws and practice safe and defensive driving techniquesCheck internal food temperatures prior to loading vehicle and at deliveryCheck orders in at customer facilities to ensure accuracyKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesQualifications For The PositionMust have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid WA state Food handler's cardAt least 2 years' experience in food service account management or restaurant managementAt least 6 months experience as a delivery driver (any type) and have some knowledge of the area of serviceAbility to comprehend local maps and directionsHands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver an excellent customer experienceExperience in developing positive relationships and handling customers' needsMust be able to communicate clearly in EnglishWillingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures and transportation lawsMust possess a valid driver license and qualify as a PHS Approved DriverMust be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basisPreferredSome experience working in a commercial kitchen environmentEEO: Pioneer Human Services is an equal opportunity employer of minorities/women/individuals with disabilities/protected veterans and does not unlawfully discriminate under federal, state, or local laws.
