Forklift Operator and Material Handler

Operate gas and propane forklifts to load and unload trucks and shipments

• Assist will-call customers with order pickup
• Package, organize, and prepare orders on pallets
• Cut lumber using a chainsaw
• Perform order picking and data entry using a tablet
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records
• Follow all yard safety procedures and company standards
• Work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions

Qualifications:

• Forklift and material handling experience preferred
• Shipping and receiving experience preferred
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication)
• Strong attention to safety
• Experience with Home Depot, Lowe's, or building materials is a plus
• Comfortable working outdoors and in a fast-paced environment

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Spokane Valley, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
