Admissions Advisor

The Admissions Advisor is responsible for territory-based outreach and recruitment for Eastern Washington University. The review of admissions applications and materials are an essential function of this position. Additionally, the Admissions Advisor supports Admissions events and projects as needed. Reporting to an Associate Director of Admissions this position requires extensive travel, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a high-paced environment.

Position will require extensive sitting and walking; selected candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. involving recruiting materials. This position, during the course of university employment, will be responsible for the receipt of, or accountability for university funds or other items of value; as well as the unsupervised access to the developmentally disabled, vulnerable adults or children under the age of 18. Successful candidate will be required to pass a background check. Ability to participate in evening and weekend events; Ability to participate in extensive travel including multi-day trips involving; travel should be expected for 8 to 12 weeks annually, which will require a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Bachelor's degree; additional years of relevant experience may be considered equivalent on a year-for-year basis.
